Token diagram

Pin.js adds additional security to your websites and applications, and reduces your PCI compliance obligations. Adding Pin.js to your project allows you to accept payments from your customers without ever handling their credit card data.

How it works: When a customer enters their order information on your website, Pin.js posts the customer's credit card directly to Pin Payments, and retrieves a unique token. The order form is then submitted to your server, with the token in place of the credit card. Your application can use the token to process the order via the Pin Payments API, without credit card data having ever entered your environment.

An integration example is available in the Payment Forms Guide.
