About Cocktail Kit

Founded by Steve Roennfeldt in 2012, Adelaide based Cocktail Kit sells a wide range of cocktail barware and equipment for the aspiring mixologist and professional bartenders. Before Cocktail Kit, Roennfeldt was running a mobile cocktail bartending business (Steve the Bartender) with his partner. Roennfeldt realised there were limited options for bar quality tools in Australia and decided to start Cocktail Kit.

Cocktail Kit sells the majority of its bar tools online to consumers. On the B2B side, the company sells to bars and restaurants through their wholesale option. Cocktail Kit also offers a click and collect service in Adelaide.

Their challenge

Roenfeldt requires a payments provider that integrates with WooCommerce for their online store and Xero for invoicing. Pricing, flexibility and support was also a factor.

“We have used Stripe in the past, but the rates are expensive, and the team was in a different time zone,” reflected Roennfeldt.

The solution

Using the Payment Page, Roennfeldt can send payment links to his clients easily. Pin Payments also allows Cocktail Kit to process the occasional manual payment over the phone or in-person without requiring additional hardware.
